We share the same grandparents (Gregory Magrum Mary Magdalene Ottoni) thru Maria Teresa. I have a lot of Magrum family and some Orth family of Gibsonburg, OH if you are interested.

I was wondering how your trip to the cemeteries went. My gfrandfather was Joseph Orth, not sure what his wifes name was or his middle name. I'm having a hard time with this. Please email me if you'd like. My grandfather was Charles Orth and I know he had a brother Conrad. Possibliy a sister named Elizabeth.

Maria Theresa Magrum married Felix Orth. Maria Theresa's father was Gregory Magrum. I am a descendant of Gregory Magrum's step brother Cyprian (Maria Theresa's uncle).

Hello, It sounds as if you as speaking of Charles Joseph Orth Born in Colby Wisconsin in 1890. His wife's name was Frances Schrieber b 1985 Sauk Rapids Minn. she did live in Sleeply Eye Minn.
They had the following children: Vernon F Orth, John Orth, Irene Orth, Ute Orth, and I do recall an Orth called Darcy.

I can trace this Orth Family back to 1809. By the way this was the first Orth family to live in Colby Wisconsin.

Just thought I'd say that I am a Magrum descend. too. My mother was Catherine C. Magrum, daughter of Gregory and Laura (Schultz) Magrum. Mom had a cousin, Mary Orth and Albert(I believe). Not sure where they lived but they visited my Mom when she lived on the Toussaint River in Oak Harbor, OH. Mom was born in 1922 and died in 1998.
