I am looking for any decendents of Robert and Arabelle McKnight. My grandmother, Bertha Schultz, was living with them in 1900 and was listed as grandaughter of Robert.I have found quite a bit of info on Robert and Arabella and will share it with anyone.

There is a family tree on Ancestry that lists Bertha Schultz, she also lived in Presque Isle, MI, I believe. Is this your Bertha? Please email me if you get stuck, I know someone who has Bertha in her tree.

I am related to the Casmey family which migrated from Ireland to Canada and from there to Minnesota. One of my relatives William Casmey was married to a Hannah Shultz also spelled Schultz. Her parents were the Robert Schultz and Arabell McKnight you are posting about. Most of my older Casmey relatives are either deceased or too old to remember or find our complete family records. I sure would appreciate any help you may offer me concerning the Shultz or Schultz family records.I understand your Grandmother was their granddaughter. I saw the 1900 cenuse and was wondering about the grandchildren listed and what happened to their mother and who was their father??? What was Bertha's mothers name? I have info on the Shultz family and pictures. I have been having trouble finding Hannah and Wm Casmey on any census. I am hoping they are on the 40 census.

Hannah Shultz Casmey died in WA. . State. I haven't found her burial yet or why she relocated to Wa., as a few Casmey families did. Just a Wa. Death certificate number. William died first but can't find a death cerfificate or burial yet. Which Shultz girl married John Kline?
One census for Robert and Arabella Shultz list several children as their own, but a different last name of Klins and John Cline being a son-in-law. Bertha was listed as single. Find a lot of errors in census. To search for William you have to also search for Wm Casmey. Also some census show Casmey spelled incorrectly-- Cosney, Casney, and a few other spellings. Hope we can help each other fill in the missing pieces to the puzzle. I'll send you an email when I have more time. Looking for descendents of Robert Schultz and Arabelle McKnight. Hello both William and Hannah might be found on the 1940 census. William Casmey died in MN. in 1948 and Hannah did in WA state in 1958, in Kitsap county. Hope this helps
