Dear Andre, .
I am so happy to find someonw who has Archambault family history. I have been searching over 10 years and have found some in the Ottawa Archives . My concern is to fond my grandfather Moise or Moses's parents. I am told that it was Toussaint and Zoe Labelle but I have never seen any proof other than a letter that my sister Lucy got from Pierrethat states that on page 322 of the Archambault dictionary as well as on page 22 and 148 of Volume 5. I don't know but what baffles me is that I have found in Ottawa this summer a reference # 3367 that John Archambault son of John and Odile Nadeau married Annie Thibault Nov. 23 1914 in Cornwall and he was the son John Archambault(uncle) son of Joseph and Sarah Royer or Ryer married Odile Nadeau daughter of Alexandre and Jane Tardie Nov. 13 1888 in Cornwall. So I presume that this had to be there parents. Looking at some 1901 census on 200 Wtight John and Odile are there with 2 of their children and his mother Adelaide born Oct. 17, 1824 is residing with them. Unless Sarah died and Joseph remarried and Adelaide lost Joseph and was living with John. It is still a mystery to me. I would like concrete evidence of who his parents really are. Any help could be very much appreciated. My grandpa was metis you could tell by looking and apparently spoke a native language. Mille mercie
Jeannine

Will look it up

I am looking for two Archambaults probably from the same family.
Caroline ARCHAMBAULT born about 1849 in Montreal married Oliver MARION sometime between 1872-1877.I don't know if they married in Boston,Ma. or Montreal. Have not been able to find the information. This was Caroline's second marriage.
On Caroline's first marriage papers in Boston in 1869 she stated her parents were Louis ARCHAMBAULT and Filonaise.

Henri MARION married Philomene ARCHAMBAULT 3 Feb.1869 Notre Dame,Montreal.

Does anyone have any information about this ARCHAMBAULT family?
