A son of Oliver P. and Dicey Jane Moore who was born in 1863, IL., but not showing up with Dicey/Disa in the 1870 Holt Co. census.
Any "Gone Home" helpers out there.
As always, a big thanks.

The only item I see in Gone Home says:

"+Mrs. Moore, a widow, died at Forest City, Mo. Saturday and was buried Sunday. (HCMP - Mar. 6, 1884)

NOTE: According to the County Court Records a Mrs. Dicey Moore, a widow d. Mar. 1, 1884, aged 47y 5m 6d and was buried in the Forest City, Mo. Cemetery."

Are you aware of the Missouri Digital Heritage: Birth and Death Records? Dicy's death cert is listed there, altho not one for the child. It says she was widowed, a housekeeper and died of Pneumonia which she'd had for 11 days.

Good luck on your continued searches!

I had seen the Mrs Moore in Gone Home and know about the Mo. death certificate database.
As Oliver doesn't show in the 1870 census, I was trying to see if I could get a date as to when Dicey came to Mo..
She was in Fulton Co., IL. in 1860 census and am assuming she stayed in Illinois until after her husband died from CW diseases in IA. in Sept. 1863.
Thank you.
