I am seeking information on the Haggard family of Benton County. Thomas J. Haggard (d. 1929) and his wife Agnes Miller (d. 1929). I am descended from their daughter, Lulu E. (Haggard) Smith (d. 1907 and buried in Oxford, IN).

Lulu Smith is buried in the cemetery next to St. Patrick's Church in Oxford. She died in 1907, a few months after my grandmother's birth. I am curious why she is buried there. No one from her family (Haggard) seems to be buried there, and the Smith family are all buried in Boswell. Also, she---nor the families--are Catholic. She is buried in a section right on the road that appears to be somewhat separate from rest of the cemetery. Was this considered a different cemetery than the "Catholic cemetery"?
