I am looking for any information on a John Hall that died in Talala, Rogers Co. Oklahoma, he died Sept. 1973. He was born Sept. 30, 1892 in Missouri. I am trying to see if he is connected to the William Hall family from Taney Co. Missouri.

Cindy, I am a volunteer at the Will Rogers Library in Claremore, Rogers Co., OK. I looked through the microfilm of the Claremore Progress for the month of September and 1st week of October, 1973 and did not find an obituary for Mr. Hall. As Talala is a small community north of Oologah, OK, you might contact the newspaper in Oologah to see if they could check their old newspapers/film. Also, Collinsville, OK is close to that area and I noted that a good portion of the funerals listed in the current online edition were handled by funeral home(s) in Collinsville.

Do you know how far Tulsa is from Rogers county, I have also found one of his sons that died in Tulsa, His name was also John Hall B- Nov. 28, 1927 and D- Feb. 5, 2004. The town where he died was Owasso.

Cindy, Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK, is next door to Rogers Co. Owasso, OK is due north of Tulsa on Hwy 169, Collinsville, Oologah and Talala are on north of Owasso....So, all of these towns are within 30 miles (a guess) of Tulsa.
