I am looking for my great grand fathers buriel site. I was told he was born in Ingonish and died in New Campbellton can you or anyone help ?

There is a listing online of St. Peter's Catholic Church Cemetery, Ingonish, Victoria County.

Listed is -

CANN HENRY

B. D. FEB 23 1933 AT 85 YRS. OLD

HUSBAND OF MARY

also -

CANN MARY

B. D. OCT 3 1934

WIFE OF HENRY CANN

DIED AT 84 YRS. 6 MO.

I am not sure if this is the right Henry Cann. It said his wife was a Mary and I have his wife as a Jessie. Also I do know that they had two son named William born in 1891 and the other was a James born in 1894. I am not 100% sure about his DOB abt 1850?? Can you Help???? Plus I am sure they were not Catholic.

You are probably looking for this family from the 1901 census, living in New Campbellton.

OK; now I can not find anything in regards to his mother Ann or Annie and nothing about who his father was?? Can you help, I seem to have come to a dead end with his mother???

I think I may be able to add some info.

I'm pretty sure both Henry and Jessie are buried at New Campbellton Cemetery, but don't think there is a stone.
