IF YOU ARE RELATED TO AUDRIN SKIPWORTH BORN IN PINE ,RIPLEY, MISSOURI AND I HAVE HE DIED IN 1982 IN DEVINE, TEXAS. FATHER WILLIAM K CALLED "BILL", YOU ARE A RELITIVE OF MINE. ONE DAY AUDRIN CAME OUT TO SEE MY DAD, DAD SAID HE HEARED SOME ONE CALLING WILLIS AND AGAIN AND AGAIN HE LOOKED OVER AND THERE WAS HIS BROTHER. HE HAD BEEN GOING AS SKIP FOR YEARS. MIGHT HAVE STARTED WHEN HE RAN OFF TO THE NAVY WHEN HE WAS 16. MURRY, TENN. IS WHERE THERE GRANDFATHER ELI LIVED AND HAD THERE FATHER..I HAVE A LOT OF SKIPWORTHS AND I SURE HOPE WE ARE RELATED. AS HE IS ONE BROTHER I NEEDED TO FIND OUT ABOUT, HIM, HIS WIFE AND FAMILY THEN AND NOW.

So, Willis is your father, then you are my husband's dad's cousin. My husband's father is Audrin Skipworth who married Hattie Ann Hardwick in Two Sands Oklahoma. I have been told that Audrin ran away at age ten to work in the Oil Fields of Oklahoma, which was suppose to be an Indian Reservation. Hattie worked in a tent as a waitress and was also young. Do you have any documentation the family, up to and including photographs? My husband's father didn't know much about his family at all. He didn't know his grandfather, William at all and didn't know about Eli being in the civil war. Anything you may have would be extremely helpful! Thanks and nice meeting you!
