Searching for any collaboration on this event and time.
In the book *HISTORY of WASHINGTON COUNTY* (Alabama), page 187 is 'In the early 1800s two brothers and a sister came to Washington County AL from SC-NC in 1814 -15. They were John, Peter, and Cynthia Beech.' then 'The loser (of a drawing to leave the area of Hickory, NC quickly) was Peter J Beech leader in the fight. He and several families quickly hired a guide...The Beech, Bassett, Loper, Moss, Joiner, Sullivan, Jones and Dykes families left Hickory, NC and headed south....Peter J Beech about 23 years old stayed in Washington Co., Al as did the other families. Two of his brothers moved further west. John settled in MS area and Percy L Beech in OK.'

No, the Beech Hill Plantation was built by Burrell Sanders and is currently owned by his descendent, Miles Sanders
