Did any of the people in New Kent Co. VA in the 1600s come from Lincoln Co. England?

I believe my family came from Lincolnshire, England, but cannot prove it. They seem to have taken an airplane over here about 1685. They did not leave a paper trail.

There is one branch of the Osling family in Australia. My G-G grandfather Ferdinand Osling arrived in Sydney in1859 from rotterdam. Another person Jacob Osling arrived here in 1884 From Riga Latvia and lived here for around 10 years but then he seems to have dissappeared. Do any of these names match with your tree?

Hi, I'm helping my mum with her family tree and her great grandmother is Ellen Osling. Ellen Osling is the daughter of Charles and Alice Osling and Charles is the son of Ferdinand and Rosa Osling. I believe that the Osling family settled around the Kempsey area of NSW. I would love to hear from anyone regarding the Osling family.

Dear Sirs,

I'm looking for any information you may have on my Great Grandfather Ernest Osling born 22nd December 1862. He was from near Riga and came to the UK in 1885.

Anything you can give would be gratefully received.

Kind regards,

Andrew Comrie

I googled upon your 2006 post accidentally--this Jesse Hans Oslin was my grandfather and all your birth/death/work info about him is correct. We have no knowledge of his siblings/relatives--he came to the US alone. We assumed they were all killed in the holocaust....maybe others emigrated in the early 20th century as well?
