Can anyone help me find info about a Joe Hill who lived and farmed at Gore or area. His father is listed as Nelson Hill and brothers Andrew,James Robinson Hill,sisters Esther ellen who married Joseph Nelson Morrison,and Clara Densmore Hill who married Lewis Mumford. Joe Hill is buried in cemetary not far from little church but don't knopw date of death.

Joseph Thompson Hill b. Dec. 19, 1876 (1901 census) d. July 9, 1961 (obit. says aged 81 years) buried East Gore. His parents were Nelson J. Hill and Margaret Thompson. Joseph was born in Minasville, Hants. He m. (1) Christine Clark (no dates or parents info) They had a daughter Rita Dora Hill b. East Gore d. Nov. 28, 1985 aged 80 years, resided Port Williams, bur. Chipman Corner Cem. She m. Charles Woodworth, and had 3 children. Joseph Hill m. (2) Lucy Anthony 1883-1968 bur. East Gore. She had m. (1) James H. Barron 1877-1948, and had 5 children. There were no children of Joseph and Lucy.

I have Joseph hill son of Nelson and Margaret Jane Thompson being born 19 Dec 1876 in Moosebrook, Hants, Nova Scotia. He is the eldest of the siblings and they are in order Elizabeth, Robert, Alexander, Clara Densmore, Andrew, and Geraldine. Nelsons parents are Alexander Sandy Hill and Maria Brown.
