Ponteix church records lookup OUELLETTE 1918 and 1976

I need a color scan or good quality digital photo of these two Ponteix parish records, marriage and death/burial for Adeline Bedard nee Ouellette.

It is well known that an unspecified Ponteix church record say she was born in Fargo, North Dakota, USA. I need this document because her maiden name has been mis-transcribed as Dusseau and copied this way from tree to tree to tree. It probably says Duquette but maybe hard to read and looks like the old style tall SS which looks similar to a p or q. That would be in reference to 1918 handwritten marriage records.

This will clear up a lot of disagreement among researchers, regarding the origin of a well-known Red River, North Dakota pioneer named Peter Russell. Knowing Zilda's maiden name will unblock many people's research, not just mine! Thanks and please let me know if there's anything else you need from me.

My email is stumpednomore at gmail dotcom.

Thanks. Just this past week I was able to study a whole package of information that pinpointed with much documentation the information I was looking for. Zirilda Dussault was the daughter of Sarah Rouillard/Russell who first married Francis Duquette, then Samuel Dussault/Desoe, then Joseph Alphonse Marchand. Zirilda is listed as Zildea Marchand in the 1900 Cass County, Dakota Territory census. Samuel Desoe is her father. Her sister Maude Dussault aka Marchand became known as Amanda and married a man named Peat. Zirilda married Joseph Ouellette. The records I was looking for would be interesting but redundant as I have found more than adequate proof. My main focus is the family of Sarah Russell's brother, Peter Russell, a first homesteader of the Red River area in the Dakota Territory.

Have you ever seen the on-line Ponteix history books? The Bedard bio is in volume 1. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=6230 and volume 2. http://www.ourroots.ca/e/toc.aspx?id=6231 Just do a Bedard or Ouelette search in volume 1 and click on the page numbers that show up. Not sure if you have others of interest there so gave you both. Butch
