Looking for information on a Patrick Coleman who used to have a market on Macomb Street in Grosse Ile. The market was later sold and named Fisher Market. Mr Coleman apparently also had a street named after him. Any info as to children etc would be appreciated

I believe you may want to post your query at the site dealing with the "Grosse-Ile" that is in the middle of the St-Lawrence River (landing place of immigrants from Europe). This Grosse-Ile was settled strictly by English and Acadian French residents, and there is no street nor shop which you have described located there. Nor was there ever a Coleman family at the Magdalen Islands. Hope this helps, Dennis

Thanks, That's certainly a far cry from the Quebec Maritimes! I guess people should check maps more often to be sure they have the correct geographical location before posting questions. BTW, I didn't post the question.
