My great, great grandmother is Mary Olphert of Donegal , Ireland.

Mary married William Lodge , rector of St Catherine's Cathedral in Killysbeg, Ireland http://martymac.org/Geneology/Lodge/SCathChurch.jpg . One of their children is my great grandfather , Thomas Wybrants Lodge. Olphert children were sometimes named Wybrants. Thomas Lodge married Margaret Short Thomson and resided in Linn, Creek , Missouri http://martymac.org/Geneology/Lodge/Mill.jpg . One of their children was Winifred Meta Lodge who is my grandmother. Winifred Lodge married Norman Yadon
and resided in Linn Creek, Springfield and St Louis , Missouri.
One of their children Allott Wybrants Yadon http://martymac.org/Geneology/Lodge/AllottYadon.jpg was my father Allott Wybrants Yadon. My mother was Helen Louise Lovett
and they lived in Springfield, Rolla, Neosho and Springfield, Mo. Later in Fort Worth , Texas then a few years in Washington DC. These marriages have been recorded in the Lodge Family Bible (printed by Roger Daniel to the University of Cambridge - 1648 London, England) it is recorded

William Lodge married to Mary Olphert by Richard LLD P? (looks like Primate) on Saturday June 1, 1770 at Shandboro County Dublin. Present: John and Edwarda Lodge, Leticia Olphert, Richard Olphert, Anne Olphert

Martha,

You may be pleased to hear that a far out relation of ours Robert Olphert has virtually completed an Olphert family tree going back to 1613 approx in Ireland, when the first Olpherts (Wybrants) Dutch in origin came to Donegal.

Regards

Andy

Have you any detail on my ggfather (and his brother) who came to Auckland, New Zealand on the 'Blue Jacket' in 1860?
They left from Liverpool, and nobody has been able to trace them back to where in Liverpool, or further back.
There is a family crest.

Derek.

Am also trying to find out parents to David O. who was a lay-preacher with the Methodist Church.

Martha,
David Olphert was "Liverpool City Missionary"; married Agnes Whaley in 1857.
Left Liverpool Nov.1859 - arriving Auckland NZ 16 Mch 1960.
Was accompanied by Robert (Olphert) whom I suspect was a child (not brother) by a marriage to Isabella (surname unknown, dates ditto), presumed died and David remarried (Agnes).
I am seeking info on David's parents; Isabella's ditto...; any brothers or sisters of David...) Kind regards, Derek Olphert.
