Well, he was one of my grandfathers brothers. He is dead now. I thought I might get some information about my family if I posted everybody's names.

I am not sure if you had a typo or not. My Dad's name is Frank Miko. He is from Hungary as well I don't know if this is any help. Rachel

There isn't a typo. My grandfather's name is Frank Mika, he had a brother John Miko. But Frank's last name was spelled Mika.

John Miko was my grandfather. Born in Hungary. Married to Julia. Children:John William, Stephen,Ann (Sutcliffe), Joseph(alive) and William (alive) Children. John lived in Garfield until his death ~1958 (I was ~ 5 years old.) Julia died about a year later.

Where from Hungary was he born? I am searching for a friend also. The John Miko I am searching came here in 1912 at age 3 years old with brother and mother. Let me know.

My Grand Grand Mother was a Miko Odoen(Died in Romania, Cluj in 198-
She was the daughter of Miko..!?! They used to have also a Royal Family STamp
I presume there are so many of them ...

My Name is Brandy Miko and I was also about five when my grandfather died.... his name was James Miko...
