lets share info. Dr. Ranold Rene La Force from
France b. about 1660, to Va by 1700, m. Sarah
Children: Rane, Sarah, Racheal, Judith.
Rane m. Agnes Mosbey and had about 10 children.
He headed west where he died, Agnes and family
were captured by British during Rev. War and
taken to Canada. After the war they returned
to US soil and were in Ky, MO, Il, etc.

I am the grand-daughter of Bessie Beatrice La Force Elliott of Scott county, Virginia. My family has a rather extensive book of information about the La Force history including a discription of the family coat of arms.
