I'am looking for information on John he was born in Texa,but was raise in Missouri around the late 1880's.His wife was Adeline (Addie) Thornton

My mother was married to a William Cowin,Who's father was named John.We used to spend summers in Ellington,Missouri.I will have to talk to my mom about his wife's name. He died in the late sixties.I was nine years old when he died. We do have many family pictures

There was a John Cowin in Ellington Mo. whose father was Andrew Johnson Cowin. He was also called John and was my great-grandfather. If you have any pictures scanned I would like to see them. Andrew Johnson Cowin's wife's name was Geneva Voyles

John Cowin would also have had several children. William,Andrew, Davis,Hazel, and I can't remember the rest. When I was younger we used to stay with uncle Davis and his wife,Betty. They had three children; Paul,Darlene, and Buck. Then there was uncle Andy who lived in Florida. I only remember his daughter,Brenda. I know they were of the Penecostal faith.Aunt Hazel also lived in Ellington along with uncle Davis. There is also a cousin Sherry,who lives in Arkansas

Father was Henry Cowin and Mother was Sarah Hunt.Henry died around 1887.Looking for any information. John was born in Texas but was raise in Missouri

How are you related to the cowin's? I would also love to know what dates you have. John Cowin was my grandfather. William[Bill]was my father.The reason I am trying to locate relatives is that I have a sister who was a year old when our father died in 1976.

This is my first time on this board. There seem to be alot of similarities in families as to the Cowans and the Cowins. My Grandfather was Fred John Cowin Cowan as i understand he was the generation that changed the last name. He live until around 1946. His Father, Wellington William Cowin had two wives, Adelaide Palmer, M 11-24-1897, and Harriet A. Cooper, M 9-19-1875. anyone here related?
