Have been researching in south Alabama and have Reeders and Dubose names in my list. Time is 1830-80, Dale and Baldwin Counties.Clarkie sound familiar. Would be interesting in making some comparisons. Major given names are Reuben and Amos Dubose and Jesse Reeder.

I have a Mary Adkinson in my family. She was born in 1830 in Mississippi the daughter of James Adkinson and Ruhama Sea. I do not know who she married, but she died September 27 1886 in Colombia, Ms. (Marion Co.) and is buried at Colombia Cemetery. Her sibblings were, Clinton, Alford, Sara, James N., Myrah Caroline, Josephine, Missouri, Willim, and Henry Allen Adkinson. I have this line back to 1744 in North Carolina. Her parents are Granville Soloman, Martha Elizabeth Anderson both of MO. Mary Etta, b.
