Father of Davis (your David) Henderson was Wilson T. Henderson
A Wilson Henderson (born 30Oct1762 in Person County,North Carolina), possibly related to Sally C. migrated from Tennessee to Gallatin County Illinois. Part of presbytery of Raleigh Church, originally organized as Union Church, October 19, 1837. This new church grew out of a division in the Old Bethel Creek Church (Saline Co, Illinois) - "History of Gallatin, Saline, Hamilton, Franklin, and Williamson Counties Illinois" (Chcago: The Goodspeed Publishing Co., 1887) pg. 225. Wilson Henderson is believed to have been the first pastor.

Was also the pastor of The Lick Creek Baptist Church organized in October 1820. Building was located near the Herald's Prarie Churchyard.

Moved to Chester Co. South Carolina and lived there until 15 yrs old. Fought in revolutionary war.

1790 Federal Census for Camden District, Chester Co, SC list a Wilson Henderson. Shown in 1800 Census for Chester Co. SC lists 2 Wilsons. One over 45 and our Wilson. Probably moved to Overton Co. PA after 1800 for three years then to Muhlenburg Co, KY then to Gallatin Co, IL
