Hello, I'''m trying to contact Merle (nee Darrington) who sailed aboard the "Orontes" from Perth to London in 1961. We met on board ship, she was going to stay with relatives in London and I was
returning home having worked in Wellington (NZ) and Sydney(Aus). We kept in contact and she did
eventually come to stay with my family in Wallasey and worked for a while in Liverpool. She enjoyed the heavy snow we experienced in the winter of 1963 eventually returning to London and then Perth. I believe she got married and had a family but we lost touch. She will be in her early 70's now.
