I think you will find the Embrey's and the Embry's are not the same. John James Embrey married Hanora Pardine Embry.
I am seeing these two different names all dumped in together and /or used as one and the same. My Dad, Ted R.Embrey, 1904-1975, who was the son of John James Embrey and Hanora Pardine EMBRY said they were not related except by marriage. My Dad talked to me about his parents quite a bit. I know he had an "Aunt Ellen."
