Looking for military history of Otis Chaffee. Born 1764 in Westminster, Windham County, VT. Married Abigail Abby. Otis died 29 May 1813 in Sacket's Harbor, NY in the War of 1812. The only info I have on his miltary career is that he fought under Major Elkannah Day at one time. If you have any additional info on Otis or Major Elkannah Day I would be very appreciative.
