I found a Hughes booklet in my mother's papers and would like to get it to a Hughes family member. The booklet is "My Family Memoirs" by Thomas Hughes.first written and printed in 1874 Baltimore MD. I have a second print from Baltimore MD. Dec 12 1917.
He starts with where the name came from, then to Felix Hughes, Inver, Donegal, Ireland in 1723 to Greene Co., PA 1805.

Four sons and two daughters follow:
James,b.1750, m.1772 Cassandra Dunn , Jefferson Co., VA. 9 children

Thomas, born 5 May 1749 married Elizabeth Swan 20 Feb 1770, Loudon Co. 10 children names and dates.many pages on this line.

Barnett, moved to KY, many descendents

John, went to KY, killed by Indians, never married

Elizabeth,born 2 Nov 1771, married William Hunter of Loudon Co. four children.

movement to PA by Hughes',, Swan's and Heller's.
burial of Felix Hughes and others, in Neill's burying ground a few miles from Carmichael, Greene co, PA.
a number of pages on Alfred Hughes, MD b. 16 Sept 1824.

I would like to get this to a Hughes descendent or someone who does Hughes research and can use it.
