I have information that shows a Jacob Odom in Dobbs and later Wayne County, NC. According to my source Jacob Odom acquired land "Falling Creek" about 1771 in Dobbs County, NC. This area became a part of Wayne County, NC in 1779.
Jacob was married to a Ann "Siney" (last name unknown).
She lived to be 93 and died in SC about 1851.
