Henry Bailey - When did he sail back to England

Hi,
I am looking for the possible return home to Plymouth, England of Henry Bailey, sometime between 1838 and 1842.

NOTE from Henry Bailey's Obituary
***Previous to his arrival in New Plymouth, New Zealand, Henry Bailey had been in the South Australian Pilot Service, and he accompanied Sir George Grey, the then Governor of that Colony, on many boating expeditions along the Australian Coast."***

The SOUTH AUSTRALIAN sailed from London under the command of Captain Alex. Allen, and arrived in South Australia on April 22nd, 1837.
On board was ... Henry Bailey (crew).
The South Australian broke her moorings and was wrecked during a severe storm in Rosetta Harbour, Encounter Bay on the 8th Dec 1837. All the crew survived.......

So Henry Bailey - a crew member of the 'South Australia' had sailed from Plymouth and been wrecked in South Australia in 1837!

Next we find him sailing on the barque 'Essex" leaving on the 15th August, 1842, from Plymouth, England on the 3rd September, 1842 and arrived in New Plymouth, NZ on the 20th January, 1843. Henry settled there and married and raised a family.

Hope someone can help me find which ship he sailed back home on?
Cheers, Mirk
