My brick wall is my grand-aunt, Florence Beatrice Moore, born in Philadelphia on Feb. 10, 1892, daughter of Charles and Caroline (Amelia Fullmer) Moore. They lived at 511 N. 7th St., Philadelphia. In 1904, Florence was admitted to the Pennsylvania Training School for Feeble Minded Children with a diagnosis of epilepsy or similar seizure disorder. I have located her in the 1900 census living at home, and the 1910 census listed both with her family, as well as an inmate at the training school. She does not appear in the 1920 census. I have been in contact with Elwyn and have received this information from them. Florence was baptized on Apr 16, 1892 at the Italian Episcopal Mission (L 'Emmanuello) at 1024 Christian St. Although there is a family story that Florence died during the flu epidemic, I cannot locate any birth or death certificate to verify birth (other than the baptism record) or date of death. I have sent a request to Pennsylvania Vital Records for a ten-year search for both birth and death records and have been told none exist. Any suggestions will be more than appreciated to find Florence and any information on her death. Thank you, Karen in NJ
