researching hte descendants and ancedstors of Zadock Benjamin, father of Jane Benjamin, of London, England. Jane born @1809, so Zadock born 1760-1780, at an estimate. Zadock worked as a watchmaker in 1837. 1837, lived at #2, Little Love Court, near St Duke's Place.
in 1841, a Solomon Hyams, age 80, born foreign parts, and his 75 year old wife, Esther, appear in the British Census. I cannot prove that Solomon and Zadock are the same, nor do I have any reason specifically to do so. Just giving up all I do know.
