I went down to Hannah, dau. of Richmond and Sarah Hooksey. After her was a Sarah Manchester, daughter of aJoseph and Sarah Cranston. She married Joseph Allen, son of Lemuel of Conn. Lemuel was in Conn regiment, Captain Issac Sargents, Maj. Backus regiment of Light Horse, went to relieve Washington at New York. He marched Sept. 7 and was dismissed on Nov. 2, 1776. Rose
