John Leo ACKERMAN (Johannes Leopold Ackermann) born 4 June 1869 in Hamburg, Germany son of Lewis/Louis/Ludwig ACKERMAN and Lenn MCMAHON. Immigrated to the United States circa 1871. Married Julia McMahon in the US about 1889 when both where naturalized. John ACKERMAN was a tailor by trade in the US with Joseph FISCHER. First located in VT (1900 census)> North Adams/Pittsfied,MA> Ithaca, NY> Winston-Salem, NC. John remarried 8 May 1931 after the death of Julia to a Annie Royal, daughter of Dickson McLaurin and Alice Holmes of Cumberland County, NC. John and Annie moved to the Bronx, New York where he died 22 Oct 1934 and is buried in Winston-Salem, NC. I am trying to locate any information/siblings of John Leo ACKERMAN.
