Randy Pitney here. I lost all my addresses a year ago and just time to find you. I've retire as Athletic Director at the University now. After coach I was in that position for four years. Well now I have time to get back into the Genealogy.

I just became president of the Oregon Pitney's Family Reunion. We have had them every year since 1962. We want to make this a BIG one and maybe go to every few years after this one. This will be the 150 year centennial of my GR and GRGR grandfathers coming over the Oregon Trail from Ohio via Missouri. It will be Aug 8th and 9th. We would like to see as many of the Pitney's around the world come join us. Friday will be at Oregon City and Saturday at Junction City at where the original homestead still is. There's lots of the westward history there. Another brother, Cyrus, also came over a few years earlier. We'd love to have you and everyone related to join us. I'll give you more of the details later, just wanted to let you know now so everyone could start planning on it.

I am leaving for a month on our annual crusade to Hawaii, Monday. So wouldn't be very active until I get back, but again just wanted to get the word out now. Please pass this along to everyone you have addresses for.

Also, while I was at the Final Four in Indianapolis a couple years ago I met another Pitney, I believe Joe, in a room across the hall in the hotel. I think he was from Ohio also. Do you know him? I think he was a line driver.
