David, Welcome.............I am seeking to find out why I am being told that there are NO newspapers for the month of June of 1955, either in the Whitehorse archives or the library. Was there a fire,flood, earthquake that prevented the newspaper from publishing during that month or what. I've contacted the RCMP'S also in Ottawa but they don't have any info. either. The reason being, my parents were in an accident along the Alkan hwy. at that time and the truck had to be towed back to Watson Lake for repairs.
