I am researching Mathias Butsch (1829-1882). Mathias was born in Wurttemberg, Germany and he was credited as being the founder of Mount Angel, Oregon. I believe he was my great-grandfather and than one of his children, John, was my grandfather. Mathias was married twice. His first wife was Pauline Ashley and his second wife was Agatha Kribs.
