Herschell Elston, 73, former resident of the Pleasant Ridge church community in northeast Noble township, died July 28 at Glendora, Calfornia.
Funeral services were held July 30 at the First Christian chuch at Glendora, with interment in Memorial park Mausoleum in the city.
Mr. Elston was born in Noble township on July 7, 1896, son of George H. and Ann Elston. He moved to California as a young man.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, a brother, Marshall Elston of Everett, Washington and other relatives. Mrs. Thelma Rodgers Rt. 5 Oleny and members of the Ed Glathart family are cousins.
