think you are the lucky recipient of a wierd happening today and how? hummm....I opened an old briefcase
that we've not used in 6-7 years and, on top of everything was an amended birth certificate from Muscatine,
Iowa. My husband's family is from Lone Tree, Iowa area where he was also raised but he nor I have any idea
where this birth certificate came from and can't place the names in his family anywhere. I think it's one of your
Sam's but it's strange as the name is changed. Let me give specifics here but I will be glad to email anyone a
picture of it for all specifics:

I have no additional information other than this so can't help any more but hope this much helps any of you
hunting this family! Maybe you can make sense of the mystery of the Myer Simmon being marked out and
Sam M being written in. The mother's name is probably correcting it to the right spelling but was it?...was the
other right? never know! Doesn't say when it was amended and what was amended altho' it's probably on file
in Muscatine county. At least you know it's there!
