Would like to find what happened to the Joel & Ann E. Martin family that was listed on the 1850 census in Dale Co. Al.

Not sure what family they are connected to but the census shows Joel Martin from S.C. born about 1805 and his wife Ann E. Martin from Ga. was born about 1821.

I didn't find them on an 1840 census anywhere.

The older children show they were born in Alabama, then the next ones show Georgia and the last ones show Alabama so assume they moved back and forth between Alabama and Georgia.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me as I have not been able to find them on any other census besides the 1850 in Dale Co. Al.
