Linda Sue Harris

BEAVER: An angel Linda Sue Harris, also known as Fred, 63, was called home on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born May 17, 1952 in Beaver Ohio (Pike County) to the late Earl Walton Rider and Florence Almeda (Jackson) Rider.
On May 16, 1972 she was united in marriage to Rickey D. Harris, Sr. who preceded her in death October 27, 2001.

Surviving are three children, Rickey Harris, Jason Harris and daughter in law, Amanda Harris and Lillian (Jon) Cook; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three adopted children, Adam Robinson, Richard McPherson, Kendra Lett; five brothers, Alfred Rider, Paul (Lynda) Lett, Jerry (Christy) Rider, Roger (Crystal) Rider, Kenneth (Cathy) Rider; ten sisters, Edith May Lett, Irene (Floyd) Jackson, Florence Frisby, Mary Lett, Shelby Jean (Lloyd) Jackson, Delores (George) Patterson, Brenda Rider, Yvette (Thomas) Wilson, Peggy Lett; her special caregiver and sister, Nancy Rider; special friend, Marty Harris; sister-in-law, Marissa "Jill" Rider; special niece and praise partner, Aubrianna; and special carrot eater, Kysen.

Her parents; husband; four brothers, Franklin, Edward and Raymond Rider, and infant brother, James Lett; sister, Gloriabell Lett preceded Linda in death.

Sister Fred joined Zion Baptist Church at an early age and was faithful until she was to ill to come, but she praised The Lord no matter how bad she felt.
Her favorite song was, everything was gonna be alright.
She was praising the Lord up to the last few hours before her passing. She was retired from the Piketon Nursing Center after 20 years of service.
She had a great love for her patients and staff.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Jackson, officiating.
Burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Zion Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday.
