Dear Friends and Relatives

I am starting a research effort into the descendents of Fulton MCCUTCHEON/EN/AN born in Kentucky and lived most of life and probably died in Floyd County, Indiana. His wife is listed as Rosanna Hey from England. I am starting with my direct line which is through Fulton’s son; John F. MCCUTCHEON. John F. MCCUTCHEON moved to Union Township ,Crawford County, Indiana between 1850 and 1860. He married Pheobe(a) Ann Smallwood and owned a farm in Union Township, Crawford County, Indiana.

John F. and Pheobe(a) MCCUTCHEON had seven (7) known children; Charles, born 1857; John W., born 1859; Emma, born 1864; William R., born 1870; Ida born 1873; Wallace O, born 1877;
And James, born 1877 or 1878.

1. Charles married Nancy A. GOLDMAN
Charles and Nancy had two known children: Lottie, born about 1878 and Hattie, born about 1888
2. Emma married CAMBELL
Emma and Mr. CAMBELL had three known children: Nellie, born 1885, Pheobe, born 1891 and Alvine, born 1896
3. William R. married Queenie GOLDMAN
William and Queenie had two children: Roy, born about 1893 and Jessie, born 1895.
4. Wallace O. married Hattie JEFFRIES
Wallace O. and Hattie had two children: Cecil Jesse, born 1903 and an unknown daughter. Wallace died young and Hattie later married Jesse GOLDMAN.

I intend to research the descendents of John F. MCCUTCHEON working back to Fulton MCCUTCHAN. Then to Fulton’s father, James H. MCCUTCHAN who to Indiana via Kentucky and originally came from Augusta County, Virginia.

I would like to ask anyone who has information on these families to please contact me at hpropp@twcny.rr.com
