Looking for any info on Maria Griggs born in 1855 the Mississippi Census doesn't say which part but her daughter Aria Griggs born 1873 and was married to John Brice born 1869 lived in Wilkerson. I was told that she was either Mullato or Native American and she was also a widow at 25 yrs old and there is no record of her husband's name listed. She is my ggg grandmother and I would love to know some history about her. I've hit a dead end and been searching everywhere. Any help or leads are much appreciated.
