Seeking possible Bergen Co, NJ, FISHER and YOUNG ancestors of gg-grandparents Sarah Jane FISHER, b. 2 Jul 1841 prob. in Rockland Co., NY, m. abt. 1861, d. 11 Dec 1919 probably in Bklyn., NY, buried Rockland Co., NY and spouse James YOUNG b. abt. 1835, d. ?. Sarah Jane's parents: Catharine Elizabeth MYERS b. 12 Jul 1818 d. 9 Jan 1868 and George FISHER b. abt. 1816, d. 31 May 1881, both buried Rockland, NY. Most MYERS and related ancestors resided in Rockland Co., NY for some 200 years. Catharine Elizabeth (Myers) FISHER, George FISHER and Sarah Jane FISHER seem to disappear from Rockland Co. by 1850 Census. (There was also a younger daughter Elizabeth FISHER m. John MORGAN) Sarah Jane was residing in Brooklyn, NY at least by 1865. Catherine, George and Sarah Jane FISHER may have removed to Bergen Co., NJ for the 15 years between 1850-1865 - had GLIDE cousins there. Sarah Jane FISHER and James YOUNG's daughter Elizabeth YOUNG b. abt. 1865 in Bklyn, NY, d. 4 Mar 1930, m. Henry GLIDE b. 22 Nov 1846, England, d. 2 Jan 1935, both buried Bklyn, NY.
