Mr. G.G. “Goo Goo” Lowe, son of the late Mr. Daniel Lowe and Mrs. Sarah Catherine Smith Lowe; was born 18 Apr 1901 in Green Co. and departed this life at 11:15 pm Sun. 19 Apr 1981 at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. He was 80 years and 1 day of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church at the time of his death. Mr. Lowe was a retired Civil Service employee. He united in marriage to Miss Grace Crabtree 27 mar 1948, who survives. Mr. Lowe is also survived by 1 sister: Mrs. Willia Warf, Greensburg and 1 niece and 1 nephew: Mrs. John Ed Hancock and Buddy Lowe, both of Greensburg and host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at he Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 2 pm Tues. 21 Apr 1981 with burial in the Greensburg Cem. Rev. Melvin Orr officiated. Pallbearers were: Bill Larimore, Bernard Blakeman, Joe T. Hodges, Geryl Perkins, Colby Cowherd and Arthur Creason.
