Mrs. Fannie Ethel Kelly, daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Meadows and Mrs. Lydia Catherine Davis Meadows, was born 10 Sept 1904 in Green Co. and departed this life at 7:55 am Fri, 21 Mar [1986] . She was 81 years, 6 months and 11 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Mr. Jimmat Kelly 23 Jul 1927 and he preceded her in death 8 Mar 1985. To this union were born 3 sons and 2 daughters. Surviving are: Lenwood Kelly, Louisville; Mrs. Lillian Marie Hartfield, Greensburg; Leroy H. Kelly, Sulphur Well ;and James R. Kelly, Summersville. Eunice Hazel Kelly preceded her mother in death. Mrs. Kelly is also survived by 1 sister, Mrs. Katie Dixon, Greensburg, and 1 brother, Leslie Meadows, Sulphur Well; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild and host of other relatives and friends. The remains were at he Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 1 pm Sun. 23 Mar with burial in the Summersville Memory Gardens. Dr. Gary Ervin officiated. Pallbearers were Mike Kelly, Mike Darnell, Larry Lobb, Steve Hartfield, James Morris Cowherd and Doug Davenport.
