I am in the process of researching my grandmother's family history. Thomas Flood and Anne Cairns were the maternal great grandparents of my grandmother, Bridget Murphy. I am wondering if anyone could tell me anything about them.

I know that Thomas Flood and Anne Cairns were married 11 July 1861 in Brighton, Glasgow. Their daughter Sarah Flood, my grandmother's grandmother, was born 10 May 1862 in High Church, Glasgow. Thomas and Anne also had a son William (born 13 May 1864 in High Church), a daughter Helen (born 28 October 1866 in High Church) and a son Thomas (born 28 January 1869 in Shettleston, Lanark).

I am not sure where or when Thomas Flood or Anne Cairns were born, or if they had any other children, or if their children survived and married. I would be grateful to hear from any Flood family researchers who might recognize these names. Any information would be helpful. Thanks. Diane
