Billy H. Keltner, 51, of Greensburg, died at 1:30 pm Thurs. 1 Nov [1984] at the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital. A native of Green Co., he was a member of the Greensburg City Council and was a painting contractor for several years. Keltner was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and former trustee member of the Masonic Lodge No. 54 F&AM, and the Royal Arch. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Curry Squires, Keltner; 3 daughters, Mrs. Theresa Bush, New Jersey, Mrs. Cindy Davis, Greensburg, and Mrs. Jennifer Shelton, Summersville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Sherry Kelly, Greensburg, his father, A.D. Keltner, Campbellsville; and 3 grandchildren, Heather Bush and Brandy Bush, both of New Jersey, and Brittany Shelton, Summersville. Services were conducted Sat. 3 Nov at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home by the Rev. Gilbert Larimore with burial in the Oak Grove Cem. Bearers were Billy Parson, David Murray, Billy Judd, A.D. Judd, Winston Keltner, Howard Keltner, Bobby Keltner and Noel Strange. Honorary bearers were Richard Blakeman, James Taylor, Lester Davis, Geryl Perkins, Tobe Parson, Russell Bagby, Mason Bishop, Otha VanArsdale, Lewis Moran, Garland Paxton, Jerry Rogers, James G. Kessler, Bill Taylor, Dwayne VanArsdale, Shirldean Lobb, Bill Lile, Lawrence Gupton, Clellan Moore, Wayne Edwards, Bill Patterson, James Keltner, Joe ATwell, Stanley Matney and Lynn Taylor Blakeman.
