i have abaline kennedy, born, raised & lived her whole life in baltimore, but i can't find any records of her parents or her birth. she is from an old established family, why can't i find records? i haven't found her folks so look for brothers.

she married a pierpont, a long established family. she had to have roots in baltimore. the only caveat is that they lived in the german speaking areas and that several generations later a pair of pierpont brothers married german speaking 2nd generation immigrant sisters. but kennedy is not a german name.

so i looked at every kennedy family in baltimore from 1780 to 1820. i traced each of their families, only 2 are the right age(1795-1815) and for whom i can find no record of their birth family. i found 2 men: a george kennedy who married ann america and a william kennedy b 1800 who married mary ann jenkins.

i found a descendant of william. looking for kennedy researchers looking in 1800 baltimore for more help.

my hypothesis is that either of these men might be abaline kennedy's BROTHER because they share a similar situation, born in baltimore but no record of their families.
