She was born between 1874 and 1878. She spoke Yiddish. She was from Russia.. I found her in 1910 census in CA under name Amelia Johnson. She was married to Charles A. JANSEN in 1906 in CA. I found her marriage certificate. She came to America in 1896 from Bremen.

I found her in 1920 and 1930 in CA... she died in 1935 which I have her death certificate.. No mention of parent name or where she is from.

This spelling is from some research into Russia and info about a Count Rostovtsev and so we are presently using that spelling.
