She married John Fairfield Feb 17, 1823 in Sturbridge, Worcester Co., MA. John was born about 1802 in Woodstock, Windham Co., CT; and died in China Twp., Saint Clair Co., MI.

John and Lydia had 8 children: Lution, Reuben, Fidelia, David, Angeline, Milton, George and an unknown daughter.
