Family history claims that John William Warner was born in Old DuQuoin IL in 1829. There is a large gap in his history (before his birth and the first two decades of this life); I'm trying to fill the gap.
The first record occurs in 1857 when JW. ("widower") married Cora Lewis in Muhlenberg County, IL; the groom stated that he had been born in Illinois.
