I am looking for a record of a marriage between Sarah or Satie H Hacking (sp?) and William Seeley (nee William Robbins). They were married 1888-1890; lived in 1892 in Watervliet, Albany, NY; then moved to Oriskany, Oneida, NY sometime before 1910. His real dad was Benjamin Robbins, but he died when he was an infant. His mother then lived with Emile F Sellier (AKA Frank Seeley) and he was like his father most of his life. William took on the last name Seeley, but I don't know if it was a legal change or if Emile adopted him officially.
I searched for a marriage record at the court house in Albany, NY but didn't find anything. I checked all different name variations I could think of.
