Can someone please help me? I am descended from John Crider (1849-1898, PA) and Catherine Bender (b.1856). John's parents were Henry Crider (1804-1864) and Rebecca Snider (1819-1863). I am convinced that there is african mixed somewhere in there, and so is that side of my family, but I don't know who it was. I am at a dead end on Rebecca and Catherine. My mom has an "afro" practically, and her dad has black curly hair, and his mom has curly hair. Plus my mom tans more easily. Can someone help me, or at least give me advice on how to find my black heritage? Thanks!
