I am looking for the parents of Harriet Mead Campbell who was born 1810, in Warpole, New Hampshire, but married and raised her children in Putney, Windham County, Vermont. She died in 1897, and is buried at Maple Grove Cemetery at Putney. Her husband was Clark Brown Campbell, and they had eight children: Elizabeth (Chandler), Fredrick, Emma (Lovell), John, Alexander F., Helen (Harding), Julia (Pierce), and Harriet. I have quite a bit of Campbell history, but have been unable to trace Harriet Mead's roots. She may have had a sister who lived at "Oak Grove Cottage" just across the Connecticut River from Putney in New Hampshire. I have a great photo of Harriet, and copies of journal entries, but they hold few clues to her history.
